Outpilot is a blog dedicated, but not limited, to all things technology related with particular emphasis on security, networking i.e., Cisco, and open source related topics. The impetus behind the blog is a need for me to document the things that I am working on. I trust it will be a home for all sorts of interesting information and commentary.

The name Outpilot comes from one of my favorite science fiction books "This Alien Shore" by C.S. Friedman.
